Nintendo Video Explaining More About The Wii U’s Online Functions

Posted on November 14, 2012 AT 12:15pm

The Wii U is almost here—and if you’d like more information on the system’s online services and capabilities, Nintendo has put together this handy 14-minute video to explain some of those things.

I—and I’m sure many others—appreciate the video, but I don’t like how some aspects are still talked about in such an unspecific and generalized manner. The Wii U is launching this weekend–there should be absolutely no reason that all of the details aren’t fully explained to potential consumers at this point. On the other hand, it’s hard to not get excited about all of the social and connectivity functions that Nintendo have built into their new console.

Oh, and if you’re wondering about that screenshot above, that’s Bill from Nintendo’s “Treehouse” group-explaining how he’ll crush your puny head if you don’t buy and enjoy a Nintendo Wii U on launch day. Er, wait—maybe that wasn’t exactly what he was saying at that part.
