Fallout Shelter, the free-to-play mobile game that popped up just ahead of the launch of Fallout 4, is now on even more consoles.
As Todd Howard revealed on stage during Bethesda’s conference at E3, the mobile game is now headed to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The game is already out on Xbox One and PC, and has proved to be pretty popular with over 100 million players. The game is available right now on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Fallout Shelter lets players take on the role of an Overseer, building and managing their own Vaults. Citizens of each Vault can generate resources based on their SPECIAL profiles, but must have their needs met in order to be efficient. Players can also provide holiday-themed items and pets for their Vault dwellers, thanks to updates the game has received since launch.
The Vault-building game has increasing relevance now that we’re waiting for Fallout 76 to arrive, so it’s a great way to pass the time while waiting for this November. The game us up for everyone to play right now and free to start, so there’s no reason to delay.
