Ubisoft has officially unveiled The Division 2 with a debut trailer that reveals a release date of March 15th, 2019.
During Microsoft’s conference at this year’s E3, not just one but two trailers for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 appeared. In the first, the story was confirmed to take place in Washington D.C, something that fans suspected thanks to some promotional art that appeared around the Los Angeles Convention Center prior to E3. The story will enter around trying to prevent a new Civil War from taking place.
The second trailer shows off quite a bit of gameplay. While many elements seem to remain the same from the first The Division, a few new weapons and gadgets were visible, including a crossbow, some sort of foam grenade that seems to stick people in place when it hits, and small drones. It’s not clear whether the drones are piloted or self-steering.
The Division 2 will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
