Overwatch

Wrecking Ball, the pseudonym of the fuzzy-cheeked, adorable hamster with a penchant for destruction, is now playable in Overwatch, and to celebrate, anyone with a Twitch Prime account can claim a few free loot boxes.

The loot boxes are Wrecking Ball–themed, and contain a random assortment of skins, sprays, victory poses, voice lines, and player icons for Hammond. With four items per loot box, that means you’re guaranteed to get eight Hammond-themed cosmetics to dress up Wrecking Ball right off the bat.

In order to claim the loot boxes, you must be a Twitch Prime subscriber (or an Amazon Prime subscriber with a linked account). In order to claim them, log in to Twitch, click the crown icon at the top right of the screen, and select the boxes (or just follow this link). From there, you’ll have to link your Twitch account to your Battle.net profile. The loot boxes will then be waiting the next time you log in to Overwatch.

You’ll have to claim your loot boxes before September 3rd, because there are even more Twitch goodies on the way. Twitch Prime subscribers will be able to claim a single golden loot box in September, and a second golden loot box in October. Golden loot boxes are guaranteed to drop one non-duplicate legendary item per box, so it’s definitely worth checking in again next month and in October to grab your extra goods.

Wrecking Ball is now live in all versions of Overwatch.
