Xbox offers insane discounts on AAA titles—but just for one day

If you’ve been waiting to pick up that AAA Xbox One title you’ve had your eye on, now’s the time to buy—at least, assuming you’re reading this post on December 7th, 2017.

The second day of Microsoft’s “12 Days of Deals” program is now live, and today’s deals are all about Xbox One games, specifically big-name titles like Middle-earth: Shadow of War ($29.99 with discount) and Call of Duty: WWII ($39.99 with discount).

Here are some of the games on sale (and their prices after the discount):

  • Star Wars Battlefront II ($39.99)
  • Overwatch Game of the Year Edition ($29.99)
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands ($19.99)
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins ($39.99)
  • Destiny 2 ($34.99)
  • Injustice 2 ($19.99)
  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole ($34.99)
  • Final Fantasy XV ($19.99)
  • Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus ($39.99)
  • Dishonored 2 ($19.99) and Dishonored: The Death of the Outsider ($14.99)
  • Prey ($19.99)
  • Evil Within 2 ($29.99)

These deals will end at December 7th at 9 p.m. PT, so if any of those games look good to you, make sure you take advantage of the discounts. And these deals are disc-only, so you won’t be able to find them on Xbox’s digital store.

Microsoft will also be offering deals on Xbox One consoles on December 11th and December 17th, but the specifics have yet to be announced.

That being said, if he's a fanboy, he's a fanboy for the game industry as a whole. Spit white-hot fanboy hate at him, trash talk his Gold II rank on Rocket League, or maybe just send him a cordial hello on Twitter @gogogoroff.
