ADG Short And Simple Review: Disney Infinity Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Figurine

Posted on February 9, 2014 AT 04:13pm

When people say Disney they automatically think of Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse is the face of Disney. So , you know he had to come to Disney Infinity. Today is that day but how does Mickey stack up to the dream that players have for him in Disney Infinity?

As of February 9th, Mickey is available in stores nationwide joining a long lineup of characters since the launch last year. Mickey comes fully equipped with his own adventure entitled “Mickey’s Magical Escape” In Magical Escape you adventure across a 2.5 D area where magical brooms have surrounded the castle. Can you escape? The faster you escape the better the medal. I found the stage to be very well design except for the pendelum area in the beginning of the stage. Even doing it correctly will take away a lot of time from you getting a higher medal. The stage could of used a few more enemies but besides that it was fun. It’s more fun when you have a partner to compete and race to the finish. You can catch gameplay of “Mickey’s Magical Escape, The official trailers, and review impressions and commentary in the video below.

One more nifty thing about this character is that you can race with Mickey and use his car. It’s one of the cutest cars available for the game. Yes, I just called a car cute.. Previously, you could only use the car as a power disc. Mickey’s Jalopy is sold separately as a Power Disc for those who wish to add the car to their toy box adventures.

Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey is worth the buy for fans of Mickey Mouse, Collectors, or someone looking to add a new friend to their adventures. It’s available nationwide at retailers now.
