ADG takes you on a ride with Goku and the gang with Dragon Ball Z Battle Of Z. This game is crazy 4 player co-op or up to 8 player versus online. Yes, online only. Hitting you guys with a deadly negative blow out the gate but remember the fight is just beginning in this review.

The unique part of this game is the fact of how it delivers a team fighting experience on the battlefield of Dragon Ball Z. You equip your team and go head to head against the opposition.  You can play on any side you choose or mix and match online with Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Raditz and more.

Let’s take a look at the features!

  •  Expansive Environments – Discover huge open areas to unleash your ki blast power
  •  New Battle Gameplay – Revolutionary melee mode in a Dragon Ball game
  •  Team Focused – Co-op battles online up to 4-players
  •  Multiplayer – Experience up to 8-player VS. in Battle Royale mode
  •  New Playable Character – The most powerful form of Goku (Super Saiyan GOD) from the recent Dragon Ball Z animated movie is included in the game
  • Original VO – Includes the authentic English & Japanese voiceover cast (English-only on PS Vita)
  • Additional Language Support – Includes Spanish & Brazillian Portuguese

Here is the thing about this game that blew me away when it came to the story, every mission gave you a different aspect and a different challenge utilizing the roster and the different skill sets they carry. Th voice-overs and scenes works great and offer a true Dragon Ball Z experience but better than ever.

My only issue with the gameplay is the targeting in the combat. You will at times target your enemy and you will still not hit him with direct attack from a basic attack. This is definitely annoying at times but not enough to make you stop playing. Maybe an update can fix this! Make it happen Namco Bandai!

Short And Simple…

Powerful As A Super Saiyan!

PLAY IT! 8.1/10
