ADG Short And Simple Review: Fable Anniversary

Posted on March 10, 2014 AT 05:31pm

Product Specifications:

Publisher: Microsoft Studios
Developer: Lionhead Studios
Release: February 3, 2014 Xbox 360
Category: RPG / Adventure
ESRB: Mature 17 Plus

Lionhead Studios and ADG are taking you back to the land of Fable. Where it all begin with Fable Anniversary which is the original Fable remastered in glorious HD with more features.

The features of this game are basically things you would expect at this point from any remake. The game is in full 1080p HD resolution support.  Achievements are in order for the original Fable experience.  The continued Xbox Smartglass support as of late continues with this title. A new layout interface to make navigating easier. Last, but not least you will receive “The Lost Chapters” content in your Fable Anniversary package.

Now as far as the story, you can choose a path of good or evil based upon the many choices you make after horrifying child hood experience. The main story I will not tell in the good faith of not giving away too much of the it in the main portion of the review but if you wish spoilers and more on the story see my playthroughs in this video alongside my first time article. Like any other RPGs, your choices and how you play will influence your characters magic ,  power and various other stats.

The presentation is very well put together as you remember but sounds even better. I’m not for sure but it seems the tunes have been remastered ..or maybe thats just the power of my hdmi audio. Wait..I just checked the box it is indeed remastered!

There isn’t much to really say about Fable Anniversary except they put in on all their promises. You will receive a better experience with load times, gameplay control, and more. You must play this game to say you are a true gamer or least RPG gamer.

Short And Simple..

A Magical Remake

!Play It! 8.8/10
