When it comes to open world games, Grand Theft Auto is the Grand Daddy of them all. Pun intended! Grand Theft Auto V is the fifth game in the GTA series and the second on current gen consoles. Developed by the series creators at Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V has a lot of hype to live up too. While ADG is a little late on his review, this is a chance to see how it lives up in his eyes.

The story sets in a reimagined Southern California metropolis named Los Santos. Micheal, Trevor and Franklin, the series main characters, come together in this video game masterpiece. Franklin is a street hustler. Micheal is a professional ex-con. Trevor is a violent maniac driven by money and getting wasted. When they meet, they decide to do the heists of all heists. This could set them up forever.

The story is very well pieced together. Theatrics and sound go well together. Voice acting is top-notch and will be one of the very best experiences you can have on the PS3 or XBox 360.

To take things even further, the graphics are also the best of this current generation. I was blown away at first by just the artwork. The game kicked in and I saw the first heist scene. I was like “Oh My God”. I couldn’t believe I was still on the Xbox 360.

During my first gameplay, I noticed how refined the controls were. It felt like Max Payne 3 shooting system but even better. Gun types feel exactly like they should in Grand Theft Auto V.

In Grand Theft Auto V, the characters have their own special abilities. Rockstar went deeper and added individual stats with stamina, shooting and more.

They’re so many new features in Grand Theft Auto V. I’ll only speak on some and the rest can surprise when you play. You want to do sports? How about some tennis or golf? Tired of the same old weapon? It’s time to customize it to your liking. Need more vehicles after noticing the new control systems?  Take a roll through Los Santos in jet skis, take flight in planes or a blimp for the first time in the series.

Short And Simple…
