ADG Short And Simple Review: Marvel Heroes

By
Posted on June 27, 2013 AT 07:48pm

Marvel Heroes is a game that fans of the Marvel universe have been dying for. Especially, after DC Comics beat Marvel to the punch with DC Universe this generation. Marvel comes in packing its own unique punch an allowing players actually to play as their comic loved counterparts instead of making a character like gamers did in DC Universe.

The game overall is pretty massive and contains plenty of side-quests and things to do after you complete the main mission.

STORY OVERVIEW
The story of Marvel Heroes is written by comic book super scribe Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man, New Avengers, House of M, Secret Invasion, Avengers vs X-Men and many, many more). The Cosmic Cube  is a device of untold power capable of changing the very fabric of reality at the whim of its possessor. The brilliant but malevolent Dr. Doom has the Cube, and with it he aims to reshape the world in his own image. Determined to succeed where the Cube’s previous wielders have failed, Doom has lined up villainous allies to prevent the super-heroes from interfering. Can you unravel Doctor Doom’s sinister plan and stop him before it’s too late?

The game offers players a chance to play free and also gives you an option to pay to show off or gain boost or experience. You don’t have to spend anything if you don’t want to and still get new characters from playing the game unlocking, loot, or spending you G currency on various items in the game.

Free Starting Characters – One of these five characters will be available for players to select upon starting Marvel Heroes.
1. Black Widow
2.Daredevil
3. Hawkeye
4. Scarlet Witch
5. Thing

There are plenty more characters, costumes, pets and more to unlock in the game. There will also be more incoming in the future.

Marvel Heroes is honestly what you you normally would expect from an MMO except now its your favorite Marvel comic characters in your gaming action. The  only thing I can really complain about in this game personally would be the sounds. They get quite annoying and sound a little generic at times. I do like the fact they added a lot of voice over work in this game even to taunt your foes or friends.

Short And Simple…

Play It!! 8/10
