ADG is on the rails with a new rail shooter, Blue Estate, in the Short And Simple Review. This new game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is designed to use the PlayStation 4 controllers gyroscopic features and if you are on Xbox One it uses the Kinect moves sensor.
I’m just going to begin with the bad parts of this game and make this as Short And Simple as possible (cause gamers got mad games to play these days). The motion sensor controls of this game do not live up to the hype. They work but on the PS4 they are several moments you will feel like the sensitivity isn’t on point with your movements. Make it even worse, there is no way you can adjust it. The amount of ammo you have in your guns outside of the machine guns and uzi’s ,you get later in the game, cause for a lot of reloading. The game’ s main character Tony even says it himself when you play and I quote in his words “how many times am I going to have to reload this thing?”. Last but not least, the game doesn’t really have checkpoints. You have missions that you must complete with a set of lives if you do not complete these mission and run out of lives you have to start over. The good thing if you have to start over they reward you with 1 extra life the next time you try the mission.
The story works very well. It is very entertaining in a dark comedic fashion. Narrated by a Private detective , who’s being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Procrastination the game will tell you funny opinions and aspects of the life of Tony Luciano and the L.A. Mob. Tony is the son of L.A. Mob boss Don Luciano and is joined by Clarence who a Navy SEAL looking for a new life. There is also a wonderful amazing diva by the name of Cherry Popz who has been kidnapped that brings a lot of spice and more to the story to say the least. Not to spoil much but the game story line is great and serves a prequel to Blue Estate Season One.
