Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, an all-new standalone Borderlands game set in-between the award-winning Borderlands and Borderlands 2Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel launches players to Pandora’s moon for the very first time offering low-gravity gunfights while playing as four new playable characters contributing to the rise of Handsome Jack.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is currently in co-development by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia, and will launch in fall 2014 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Fans attending PAX East in Boston this weekend can stop by booth #962 to get a first look at Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and grab PAX East-exclusive Borderlands swag.

I have good feelings in general about this announcement. My only gripe will be if after it releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC they decide to remaster it for current gen.  Looking forward to hear more on this project. I hope you guys enjoyed this preview.
