1. Trion Worlds has unveiled an action packed gameplay trailer featuring competitive multiplayer combat for Defiance™, the highly anticipated futuristic online open world shooter. Scheduled to launch globally on April 2, 2013, the game will be available on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.

The new trailer showcases the open world competitive multiplayer system, dubbed “Shadow War.” Competitive multiplayer in Defiance is like nothing console players have ever seen, with Shadow War being fully integrated within the game’s massive scale co-op experience, giving players a choice to participate on their own terms, and allowing progression between co-op and competitive gameplay to be the same.

Packed full of fierce multiplayer action, out of this world alien-tech weaponry and gigantic infantry and vehicular battles, the Shadow War trailer gives a brief glimpse of what’s to come from one of the biggest games of the year.
