We’re here with EPIC GAMES Universe, a community that is all about the Unreal Engine. Joining me for this interview is Monte Brown, Owner and Operate at www.epicgamesuniverse.com.

AntDaGamer: Hello Monte! Can you tell us a little about Epic Games Universe, how long its been around, and you vision for this project?

Monte Brown: I launched Epic Games Universe back in May 2012 after being a part of GCON for over two years, hosting and live streaming events, then became the official live streamer for The EGFC. It was time for me to show the community the love and passion I have for video games and mostly the Unreal Engine.

AntDaGamer: I wanted to create a site that fans of the Unreal Engine franchise can get the latest news, previews, and reviews of their favorite upcoming video game titles and be able to spread the word about these amazing titles.

Monte Brown: My vision of the site is to eventually really grown into a professional press site for video games and hardware reviews and make it a one stop place for all your Unreal Engine needs.

AntDaGamer: Do you feel your vision has been met?

Monte Brown: Not even close, we’re just starting out there is is tons of work ahead for Epic Games Universe ever to get where is needs to be and the hardest thing is to get known out in the gaming community’s.

AntDaGamer: What about Monte Brown? Can you tell us a little about the man behind the vision?

Monte Brown: I just love video games been playing since I was just a little guy and really stepped away from then until 2006 when I saw a trailer for Gears of War. I couldn’t believe my eyes what I was seeing a horror/shooter with mechanics I have never seen before in a game, I think that next day I went and pre-ordered Gears of War and that’s when I fell in love with the Unreal Engine.

 AntDaGamer: Are you excited about Gears of War: Judgment?

Monte Brown: Yes!  I love what they are doing with taking Horde and Beast Mode and blending them into an multi-player game mode. I’m also excited to about FFA in Judgment, pretty much just blast anything that comes in your way and try to stay alive. The other thing I like about Judgment is of course the new Campaign story and to see where Epic Games takes us this time.

AntDaGamer: What are you looking forward to most in Gears Of War: Judgment?

Monte Brown: Everything Campaign, multi-player, new characters, weapons and everything in between.

AntDaGamer: What scares you the most about Gears Of War: Judgment?

Monte Brown: Nothing really I just hope Epic Games takes what they’ve learned and problems they’ve found in the past games and try to correct them. I think they’re going down the right path with Judgment and should be a great game.

AntDaGamer: What is Monte B’s current favorite game?

Monte Brown: Has to be Gears of War 3, been playing the franchise since 2006 and haven’t stopped yet to this day and will continue with Gears of War Judgment.

AntDaGamer: Besides yourself , who are some of the major guys at EPIC GAMES UNIVERSE and what exactly do they do?

Monte Brown: It’s just me at the moment and sometimes I feel slammed with things but I get things done.

AntDaGamer: AntDaGamer is all about giving back to gamers not just providing news but by providing entertainment. I see you guys have a live stream like myself. Tell us about it.

Monte Brown:I have two live streams I have the official Epic Games Universe channel http://www.twitch.tv/epicgamesuniverse and my personal channel  http://www.twitch.tv/ev0l0ne The Epic Games Universe live stream is for events, tournaments or when we’re showcasing  a new game that just came out and getting ready to write a review about it. We also have a Epic Games Universe Team Page http://www.twitch.tv/team/epicgamesuniverse it features casters that live stream games made from the Unreal Engine and just help viewers get a wide variety of different streams.

My personal live stream is where I mostly stream at least 3-5 days a week playing Gears of War 3 and really just love showing people the passion and love I have for video games.

AntDaGamer: I played once in one of you guys Free Agent tournaments and got slaughtered. Who came up with the idea for these Free Agent events and how can people get in on the next one?

Monte Brown: I’ve never been a part of the Free-Agent-Tournaments, that was after I stepped down from GCON.

AntDaGamer: What is your personal favorite game based on the Unreal Engine?

Monte Brown: Come on, it’s got be Gears of War franchise,  beautiful graphics, amazing game-play and it’s awesome story and characters.

AntDaGamer: Have you met Cliffy B or any one involved in an Epic Game or game based upon the Unreal Engine?

Monte Brown: Sadly no, I haven’t and I would love to meet anyone from Epic Games. I have always tried to make it down to Comic-Con but just have never been able to. I’ve worked with them many times with events and stuff that involves the online community but no haven’t meet any of them face to face.

AntDaGamer: Just yesterday, Cliffy announced his is taking a breaking from his career and Epic Games. What is your take on that?
