Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate is here. Not only did Team Ninja deliver a more definitive package with tons of features. They have giving us a F2P model so everyone can get online and enjoy the fighter. All you need is a PS3 to be a part of the action today.  Everything is detailed below in the official release.

TECMO KOEI Europe announced today that DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE will be available in retailers across Europe this Friday 6th September for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Ever committed to creating the best in fighting entertainment, Team NINJA delivers the definitive DEAD OR ALIVE 5 package brimming with an bounty of features aimed at both novice and expert fighters.

DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE is the most comprehensive fighting experience set in the Dead or Alive universe. With an abundance of new online features, stages, game modes and the addition of both new and fan-favourites to our already extensive cast of fighters, Team NINJA has delivered the ‘ultimate’ in fighting entertainment with features enjoyable from casual to competitive fighters.

Features new to DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE add several fan-favourite characters to the biggest roster in franchise history such as the return of Ein, Leon, the introduction of the Dragon Shrine Maiden Momiji and Fiend Hunter Rachel from the Ninja Gaiden series as well as Jacky fromSEGA’s Virtua Fighter. In addition, players can expect a plethora of new costumes, several gorgeous interactive arenas, robust training and ranking modes for increased competitive play, and upgraded online functionality and features.

DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE delivers heightened competitive play with the addition of new modes such as Team Fight mode, allowing players to create teams of up to seven characters to compete offline against other players or the COM to takedown all of the characters on the opposing team. With “2 on 2” Tag Mode, in which players team up for online cooperative tag matches. Improved training modes have also been added providing new lessons for Tutorial mode. The Move Details  from DEAD OR ALIVE 5 PLUS has been expanded in DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE giving players highly-detailed information to study and implement in to their game plan. Nearly 1000 titles are available with a huge library for each character. Battling in different modes, clearing new missions and other new challenges unlock titles to be used to customize player profiles.
