NGames, a leading online games publisher, has today revealed some of the new characters introduced to One Piece MMO, Pockie Pirates, as part of the massive Chapter 6 expansion, which is currently in open beta.

Chapter 6 introduces a brand new world to Pockie Pirates, faithfully recreating the famous Grand Line from the popular One Piece Anime series. The new expansion, which launched into open beta on Christmas Day, has also introduced a raft of new One Piece characters to the sea-faring MMO – each with new challenges and tasks on offer for players to complete. 

Norland 
Norland, a famous adventurer and ancestor of Montblanc Cricket, is well known for discovering a gold city on Jaya over 400 years ago. Exiled due to a misunderstanding, Norland was imprisoned and executed by his furious King after returning to Jaya and finding that much of it’s prosperous soil had been washed away to the Skypiea by the Knock Up steam. Hundreds of years later, the descendants of Norland are still living on Jaya, hoping to find the legendary gold city and clear the good name of their ancestor.

Igaram 
Igaram, captain of the Alabasta royal guard, took an undercover job in the Baroque Works in order to protect Princess Vivi and investigate their secrets. With a passion for defeating Crocodile in order to save his kingdom, the master of disguise once dressed as Princess Vivi in order to sail, only to be blown up by Baroque Works while out at sea. The fact he survived is considered a miracle. 

Cobra 
Cobra is princess Vivi’s father and the twelfth king of Alabasta. A fair man who truly cares for his kingdom and people, Cobra is willing to take a stand even when framed by the notorious Baroque Works. He, his brave daughter, and the Straw Hats crew are the reason Alabasta is finally safe.

Thatch 
Thatch, the commander of the fourth division of the Whitebeard Pirates, was murdered by Blackbeard for the Dark-Dark Fruit – but his legacy lives on. Thatch’s death highlighted Blackbeards complete disregard for the pirates rules against killing a companion, triggering a series of events that saw Blackbeard hunted by his former commander, Ace, and shaping the Grand Line adventures for years to come.
