The Diablo universe is a few weeks from the March 25 launch of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, and Blizzard has just released a video detailing the changes in the new pre-expansion patch, and a special 50% XP boost to help players get ready for Reaper of Souls.

For Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, Blizzard has drawn on feedback to give players more of what they want—including an Adventure Mode that provides incredible replayability, and revamped loot:

  • Act V, which continues the Diablo III story where it left off, takes players through the legendary city of Westmarch and to the ancient halls of the Pandemonium Fortress, to bring Malthael, fallen Archangel of Wisdom, to justice
  • The new Crusader class, a righteous warrior clad in massive armor and bearing an impenetrable shield
  • Adventure Mode – all waypoints are unlocked, so players can go anywhere, slay anything.
  • Redesigned Loot System – quality over quantity, including game-changing Legendaries
