Warner Home Video and Viz Media have announced that the first animated movie based on the Professor Layton series of Nintendo DS games will be released on DVD November 8.
Directed by Masakazu Hashimoto, who previously worked on the anime Scrapped Princess, and produced by Masakazu Kobu, whose credits include a number of the Pokémon films, Professor Layton And The Eternal Diva is a mystery movie set right after the events of the 2009 game Professor Layton And The Last Specter.
The DVD will feature both Japanese and English voice tracks, in both Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound and stereo, but it was not announced if there were any other extras.
Professor Layton And The Eternal Diva will be available for $19.97.
