THE BUZZ: The limbless wonder, Rayman, is making his way to the Nintendo 3DS. Rayman Origins, released for the Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 late last year, and was sadly, ignored by much of the shopping public. Ubisoft is hoping that Rayman can find a better home on the 3DS when it drops March 16, according to the Official Nintendo Magazine. No word if there will be any changes made.
EGM’s TAKE: Rayman Origins is a delightful game and we were all pulling for it to sell well. Sadly, the game hasn’t hit it’s stride yet, but with new life on the Nintendo 3DS we are hoping that kids won’t mind a bit of teary eyes to play through this beautiful game. Ubisoft may want to put an “easy” mode in this time around, because once gamers get through the first few levels, the difficulty ramps up and we can see a lot of broken 3DS’ and some very angry parents in their future.
