Negative Creep
Warner Brothers and Viz Productions have announced plans to turn the anime and manga “Bleach” into a live action movie, and Masi Oka of “Heroes” and “Hawaii Five-O” is helping out.
No casting has been announced, but they have said that the Oka is one of the film’s producers, and that it’s being written by Dan Mazeau (“Clash Of The Titans”).
There’s also no director at this time, but they did indicate that Peter Segal (“The Longest Yard”) is attached as producer “with an eye toward directing.”
The anime of “Bleach” currently airs Saturday nights at midnight and 4AM, while the most recent game, “Bleach: Soul Resurrection,” came out on the PlayStation 3 last August.
