Walt Disney Studios have announced that the Blu-ray of the classic animated movie “Lady And The Tramp” will be out February 7, 2012, while the Blu-ray of the equally appreciated “Cinderella” will be out in the fall of next year. Both are being released as part of the company’s Blu-Ray Diamond Line.
Details of the “Cinderella” Blu-ray were not revealed, but the “Lady And The Tramp” collection will be released as a three-disc DVD/BD combo ($44.99), a two-disc DVD/BD combo ($39.99), and a single-disc DVD ($29.99).
The DVD will include a making-of featurette, a look at the storyboards that includes the original 1943 storyboard version of the film, a look at the dogs and the cats in the movie, a music video, trailers, and a look back at Walt by his daughter, Diane. The two-disc DVD/Blu-ray combo will also add commentary, deleted scenes, a song that was never recorded, and a look inside Walt Disney’s story meetings, while the three-disc version will have everything on the two-disc edition plus a digital copy of the film.
“Lady” will also be available as a digital download, in both high- ($39.99) and standard def ($29.99), and will include the deleted scenes, the featurette on the dogs, and the Diane Disney look back.
