Warner Home Video have announced that the DVD and DVD/Blu-ray/digital copy combo pack of “Contagion” — Steven Soderbergh’s movie about a deadly disease that threatens to wipe out Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, and Gwyenth Paltrow, as well as us regular folk — will be out on January 3, 2012.

Besides a making-of featurette, these collections will also include a look at the scientists and doctors who deal with real life deadly diseases and the labs they use to study (and hopefully prevent) them.

The DVD will retail for $28.99 while the DVD/BD combo pack will be $35.99
