The Sky Is Falling

Warner Home Video have announced that the first of “Falling Skies” will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 5.

Besides the ten episodes, “Falling Skies: The Complete First Season” will also include commentary on the pilot episode, behind-the-scenes featurettes, character profiles, the show’s Comic-Con 2011 panel, a look at how the Skitters are animated, a digital copy, and a sneak peek at the second season which, not coincidentally, also starts in June.

In addition, the Blu-ray will also include a collectible trading card and a look at the “Falling Skies” comic book.

The DVD will retail for $39.98 while the Blu-ray will be $49.99.
