“Monty Python And The Holy Grail” Blu-ray Announced

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced that the Blu-ray of “Monty Python And The Holy Grail” will be released on March 6.
Besides the classic film, the collection will include some new extras including outtakes and deleted scenes with introductions by director Terry Jones, and lost animations with introductions by Terry Gilliam.
Also including are a commentary by Gilliam and Jones, a second commentary by John Cleese, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin, a featurette on the locations with Palin and Jones, the Japanese version of the film, three songs you can sing-a-long with, and the “Knights Of The Round Table” tune done with LEGOs.
Sony are also releasing an iPad app called “The Holy Book Of Days” which let’s fans of the film check out photos, diaries, audio recordings, and script pages from the production. It also let’s you navigate the Blu-ray using your iPad.
The Blu-ray will retail for $19.99, while the app will be $4.99, though Sony is offering a mail-in rebate of $5.00 if you buy both.
