A Low Down Dirty Shame

Warner Home Video have announced that the first season of Showtime’s dark comedy “Shameless” will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 27.

Besides a dozen episodes, both versions will include deleted scenes, commentaries on two episodes, a behind-the-scene featurette called “Bringing Shameless To America,” a featurette on the cast called “Shameless: Bringing The ‘Fun’ In ‘Dysfunctional,” and a featurette on the show’s sex scenes called “A Shameless Discussion About Sex,” with the Blu-ray adding digital copies of the episodes.

Both versions will also present a sneak peak at the second season, which begins January 8, 2012, at 10 (ET/PT).

The DVD will retail for $39.98 while the Blu-ray will be $49.99.
