We’re Going to Need a Bigger DVD Player

Fox Home Video has announced that the DVD and Blu-ray of “Shark Night” will be released on January 3, 2012.

Directed by David Ellis, who previously made “The Final Destination,” this aquatic horror film stars Sara Paxton (“Superhero Movie”), Katharine McPhee (“American Idol”), and Joel David Moore (“Avatar”).

Besides the movie, vote versions will also include a featurette on the director and the ability to jump to your favorite kills. In addition, the Blu-ray will also add a featurette on sharks, a making-of featurette on the special effects, and a digital copy.

The DVD will retail for $29.98 while the Blu-ray will be $39.99.
