Warner Home Video have announced that a 25th Anniversary edition Blu-ray of Stanley Kubrick’s 1987 Vietnam War movie “Full Metal Jacket” — which starred Matthew Modine, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Adam Baldwin, while also introducing us to perennial military man R. Lee Ermy — will be out August 7, 2012.
Besides the movie, the collection will also include a new commentary by Baldwin, D’Onofrio, Ermy, and, for some reason, “Gangs Of New York” and “Strange Days” screenwriter Jay Cocks, a featurette on the film called “Full Metal Jacket: Between Good And Evil,” a new documentary about Kubrick called “Stanley Kubrick’s Boxes,” and the film’s original trailer.
The disc will retail for $34.99.
