3D HD VERSION OF “JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH” DVD ANNOUNCED

Fantastic Voyage

Warner Home Video has announced that a new 3D HD version of “Journey To The Center Of The Earth” will be released on Blu-ray on January 17.

Previous editions did include the film in 3D, but only in standard definition.

The collection will also include passes to see “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” a spin-off/sequel kind of thing that stars Dwayne Johnson and Michael Caine. It will be out February 10, 2012.

The collection will retail for $44.95.
