Rather prophetic
Comedy Central Records has announced that they will release Lewis Black’s The Prophet—a recording of the comedian and Daily Show commentator from 1990—on September 27.
Recorded in late 1990, while Black was touring clubs and colleges (and around the time he made a rare dramtic turn in the movie Jacob’s Ladder was released in theaters), The Prophet is his sixth comedy album, with two of them, 2006’s The Carnegie Hall Performance and 2009’s Stark Raving Black, both winning Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album.
Black is currently on tour through November, and will, no joke, be hosting a comedy cruise from November 6th through the 13th.
