Basket Case Blu-Ray Announced

Talk about a twin bond.
Image Entertainment has announced that they’ll be releasing the cult classic horror film Basket Case on Blu-ray.
Released in 1982, this low-budget fright fest introduced horror fans to sad sack Duane Bradley, who carries his misshapen—and violently pissed about it—Siamese twin Belial around in a basket. But it all goes pear-shaped when Duane meets a lady, much to the jealous-driven disapproval of Belial.
Besides boasting a new full-frame HD transfer, which preserves the original 16mm camera ratio, the Basket Case Blu-ray boasts a wealth of extras, including a new video intro from Director Frank Henenlotter; a commentary with Henenlotter, producer Edgar Ievans, and star Beverly Bonner; outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage; the original trailers, a TV commercial, and two radio ads; an art gallery; and a 2001 video short called In Search of the Hotel Broslin.
Basket Case will be available September 27th for $17.97.
