The Ship Hit For Fans

Universal Studios Home Entertainment have announced that the DVD and DVD/Blu-ray combo pack of Battleship will be released on August 28.

Both versions will include featurettes on the cast, filming at sea, and working the US Navy and the crew of the USS Missouri.

In addition, the DVD/Blu-ray combo will also include pre-via footage of an alternate ending with commentary by director Peter Berg, a featurette on the special effects, tours of the set and the USS Missouri, a featurette on Berg, a digital copy, and Universal’s usual Blu-ray interactive featrues.

The DVD will retail for $29.98 while the DVD/BD combo will be $34.98.
