BBC Home Video have announced that they’ll release two archival “Doctor Who” collections in January.
Available January 10, 2012, “Doctor Who: Invasion Of The Dinosaurs” has the Jon Pertwee version of the space shamus trying to figure out why dinosaurs have returned to Earth. Included in this two-disc set ($34.98) are a commentary track, making of featurette, and a photo gallery.
Then, two days later, the Tom Baker-era tale “Doctor Who: The Android Invasion” has the good doctor dealing with an outbreak of zombies in a small English town. As with the other collection, this will also have a commentary track, a making-of featurette, a photo gallery, and other extras, and will retail for $34.98).
