Criterion Edition Blu-ray Of “The Royal Tenenbaums” Announced

Criterion have announced that they’ll release one of the patented special editions of Wes Anderson’s “The Royal Tenenbaums” on Blu-ray on August 14.
Along with a digitally cleaned up version of the film, the collection will also include commentary by Anderson, outtakes, “With The Filmmaker: Portraits By Albert Maysles,” interviews and behind-the-scenes footage with the cast, “The Peter Bradley Show,” the original trailers, the “Studio 360” radio segment on painter Miguel Calderon, an essay by film critic Kent Jones, and a scrapbook of Richie’s paintings, set photos, and storyboards.
The Blu-ray will retail for $39.95.
