(He Will) Set The World On Fire
Iso/Columbia Records have announced that David Bowie’s new album, The Next Day — his first since 2003’s Reality — will be released March 12.
The album will be available in both regular and deluxe editions, with the latter adding three additional tracks, and was produced by Tony Visconti, who has worked with Bowie on such albums as 1970’s The Man Who Sold The World, 1977’s “Heroes”, and 1980’s Scary Monsters.
The first single, “Where Are We Now?”, is currently available via iTunes, while a video for it can be seen on Bowie’s website here: http://www.davidbowie.com/vision?videopremiere=true
The new comes, perhaps not coincidentally, on Bowie’s 66th birthday. Happy Birthday, David. Thanks for the present.
