Avenging Angels

Funko have announced that they’ll release a series of official “Avengers” toys in conjunction with the upcoming movie.

On March 15, 2012, the toy company will release 3.75-inch POP! Vinyl Bobble-head Figures for Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, and Nick Fury, as well as plushies for Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and The Hulk.

The company will follow them a week later with a series of Wacky Wobbler bobble-heads, though they haven’t said for what characters.

Directed by Joss Whedon (“Firefly”), “The Avengers” — which stars Robert Downy, Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Lou Ferrigno as the voice of The Hulk — will be out May 4, 2012. You can see the first trailer here
