To Boldly Go When No Time Lord Has Gone Before

IDW Publishing has announced a crossover comic in which the current Doctor Who will cross paths with the crew of the starship Enterprise circa “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”

Written by Scott and David Tipton (“Star Trek: Infestation”) and longtime “Doctor Who” writer Tony Lee, with art by J.K. Woodward (“Fallen Angel”), “Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation 2” will have the good Doc teaming up with Picard and his crew to tag-team the unholy pairing of The Borg and The Cybermen.

The first issue of this eight issue series is scheduled to be published in May.
