The Long Walk Home

Warner Home Video have announced that the extended versions of the three Lord Of The Rings movies will be released on Blu-ray on August 28.

Besides the longer versions of each movie, each five-disc set will also include the relevant extras, which include making-of documentaries and featurettes, multiple cast and crew commentaries, interactive maps, production photo galleries, and a digital copy.

Though, sadly, most of those extras are presented in standard sefinition on DVD, not in HD on Blu-ray.

These collections will retail for $34.99 each.
