Adult Swim has announced that comedian, actress, and political commentator Janeane Garofalo has joined the cast of “Delocated” for the live action show’s upcoming third season.

“I couldn’t be less excited,” said Jo Glaser, the show’s creator and star joked. “Janeane is not very funny, and she’s also a terrible actress. OH MY GOD, HILARIOUS! I ACTUALLY MEAN THE OPPOSITE OF EVERYTHING I JUST SAID ABOUT HER! WELCOME, JANEANE!”

Garofalo will play Susan Shapiro, the head of the network that airs the reality show about a family in the witness relocation program.

The third season of “Delocated” is slated to being in early 2012.
