One…Singular Sensation…

IDW and 2000AD have announced that a comic exploring Judge Dredd’s early days on the force called Judge Dredd: Year One will launch March 27.

The comic is being written by 2000AD Editor-In-Chief Matt Smith, who previously wrote a novella called Judge Dredd: Year One: City Father, which was released digitally earlier this year.

Art for this ongoing comic will be done by Simon Coleby, who has drawn numerous Judge Dredd comics since 1991.

Judge Dredd: Year One #1 will retail for $3.99.
