“Kung Fu Panda” DVD and Blu-Ray Announced

Everybody was kung-fu fighting…
DreamWorks Animation has announced that the DVD and DVD/Blu-ray combo pack of “Kung Fu Panda 2” will be released on December 13.
The DVD version will included an all-new adventure called “Kung Fu Panda: Secrets Of The Masters”; deleted scenes; running commentary from Director Jennifer Yuh Nelson, Producer Melissa Cobb, Production Designer Raymond Zibach, and Supervising Animator/Choreographer/Story Artist Rodolphe Guenoden; an episode of the upcoming “Kung Fu Panda” TV show; a featurette on the voice cast called “Kickin’ It With The Cast”; “Panda Stories,” a featurette on the animals that inspired the movie, which includes footage of Jack Black visiting the Atlanta Zoo; “Ni Hao,” an interactive lesson in speaking and writing Chinese; “Kung Fu Shuffle,” a featurette on the classic shell game hosted by Master Shifu; two free memberships to the “Kung Fu Panda World” online game; “Legend Of The Wu Sisters” DVD-Rom game; and printable pages that include connect-the-dots, papercraft, coloring pages and more.
The DVD/Blu-ray combo pack has all of the aforementioned extras, as well as such exclusives as “Animation Inspiration,” a featurette on the real locations that inspired the film; “The Animator’s Corner,” which has interviews with the cast and crew of the movie; a trivia track; and a digital copy.
No pricing was announced, but the press release did say the discs, “will be available with expected pricing as low as $25 on DVD and $30 on Blu-ray.”
