Dark Horse Comics have announced that the comic “Shaolin Cowboy” will return next year with a new three-issue run.

Scripted and illustrated by Geoff Darrow — who drew the Frank Miller-written comics “Hard Boiled” and “Big Guy And Rusty” — the three issue series will be the first since the comic’s initial run five years ago.

However, it was not revealed how these new comics would connect the previous seven — which were published by Burlyman, the comic company started by “Matrix” directors Andy and Larry Wachowski — or whether the inevitable collected edition would also include those earlier issues. To date, the only compilation of those comics are a trio of French paperbacks.
