Silentium Is Goldium

Tor Books have announced that the third book in the Forerunner Saga — a trilogy of Halo books being written by Greg Bear — will be called Halo: Silentium, and will be released on January 8.

The trilogy centers around the Forerunners, the ancient alien race that built the Halos. It will be available in hardcover, digitally, and as an audio book.

Prior to Silentium, though, Tor will release Halo: The Thursday War, the second in a trilogy of post-Halo 3/pre-Halo 4 novels by Gears Of War: The Slab writer Karen Traviss. It will be out in October.
