A+E Networks Home Entertainment and Major League Baseball Productions have announced that the Emmy Award-winning YES Network series “Yankeeography” will be released on DVD on October 4.

Since debuting in August of 2002 with a biography of outfielder Bernie Williams, “Yankeeography” has profiled dozen of prominent Yankee players and coaches, include Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Catfish Hunter, Reggie Jackson, and Yogi Berra.

Collected as “Yankeeography: Pinstripe Legends,” the sixteen-disc boxed set includes thirty-seven episodes of the show, including fourteen that have never been on DVD before. The set also includes nine documentaries on the team that are also making their DVD debut, as well as a thirty-two page book with historic photos and commentary.

“Yankeeography: Pinstripe Legends” will retail for $179.95.
