Animate Me

Image Entertainment have announced that the cult classic horror movie Re-Animator will be released on DVD and, for the first time, Blu-ray on September 4.

Besides the film, the disc will include two commentaries: one by director Stuart Gordon, and another by producer Brian Yuzna and stars Bruce Abbott, Jeffrey Combs, Barbara Crampton, and Robert Sampson.

Also included are the original trailers, TV commercials, deleted and extended scenes, a featurette on the music, and interviews with Gordon, Yuzna, screenwriter Dennis Paoli, composer Richard Band and Fangoria editor Tony Timpone.

The DVD will retail for $9.98 while the Blu-ray will be $17.97.
