May the Force be with you.
Cartoon Network has announced that the fourth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will begin Friday, September 16, at 8:00PM (ET/PT).
The season—which has the subtitle Battle Lines—will begin with “Water War” and “Gungan Attack,” two episodes of a three-episode story arc in which the planet of Mon Calamari is on the brink of civil war, and the Jedi come in to drive out the Separatists. The third part will air the following week, September 23, at 8:00PM (ET/PT).
Not surprisingly, September 16 is also the day the original Star Wars movies will be released on Blu-ray for the first time. Besides a pair of three-movie sets called The Prequel Trilogy and The Original Trilogy ($69.99 each), which just have the movies and audio commentaries, there’s also a nine-disc collection called Star Wars: The Complete Saga ($139.99) that have the same commentaries as well as deleted scenes, new and vintage documentaries, and interviews.
As for the previous season of The Clone Wars, the DVD and Blu-ray of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 3 will be out October 18.
