The Spy Strikes Back

HBO Home Entertainment have announced that the first season of “Strike Back” — their spy series on Cinemax — would be released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 7.

Besides the six episodes, both versions of “Strike Back: Cinemax Season 1” — which, despite the name, is not about the pay cable channel getting revenge on everyone who calls it “Skinemax” — will include commentaries by stars Philip Winchester, Sullivan Stapleton, Liam Cunningham, Amanda Mealing and executive producer Daniel Perciva, as well as a digital copy.

The DVD will retail for $49.98 while the Blu-ray will be $59.96.
