Super duper

Paramount Home Video have announced that Super 8 will be released on DVD and in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack on September 22.

Besides standard and high-def versions of the movie, the combo will also include a commentary by Writer/Director J.J. Abrams, Producer Bryan Burk, and Cinematographer Larry Fong, as well deleted scenes, a deconstruction of the train crash scenes, and eight behind-the-scenes featurettes.

The DVD version will also include the commentary, as well as two of the aforementioned featurettes.

The DVD will retail for $29.99 while the combo will be $39.99.
