Warner Home Entertainment have announced that the original animated movie Superman: Unbound will be available on DVD, Blu-ray, and for digital download on May 7.

Based on Geoff John’s Superman: Brainiac, the movie stars Matt Bomer (White Collar) as Superman, John Noble (Fringe) as Brainiac, Stana Katic (Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City) as Lois Lane, and Molly Quinn (Castle) as Supergirl.

Along with the movie, the DVD/BD combo pack will also include the featurettes “Kandor: History Of The Bottle City” and “Brainiac: Technology And Terror,” an audio commentary, a digital excerpt of Superman: Brainiac, four episodes of Superman: The Animated Series, a sneak peak at the next DC Universe animated movie, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, and a digital copy.

The DVD will retail for $19.98 while the DVD/BD combo pack will be $24.98.
