Starvin’ Like Marvin

Lionsgate Home Entertainment have announced that the DVD and Blu-ray of “The Hunger Games” will be released on August 18.

Both of these two-disc sets will include an eight-part documentary called “The World Is Watching: The Making Of ‘The Hunger Games’,” the complete version of the propaganda film, a conversation with director Gary Ross, featurettes on the book’s author Suzanne Collins, the control center, and actor Donald Sutherland and his role as El Presidente. In addition, the Blu-ray adds “Preparing For The Games: A Director’s Process” which shows how three key scenes went from the book to the screen.
