Universal Music Group has announced that a Super-Deluxe version of The Rolling Stones’ 1978 album Some Girls will be released on November 21.
Besides a remastered version of the original album — which includes such classics as “Beast Of Burden,” “Shattered,” and “Miss You” — the three-disc set will include some previously unreleased songs which were recently found in the Stones’ vault (though, unfortunately, none of their titles have been revealed as of yet).
Also included in the Super-Deluxe Edition are a previously unseen photo shoot by legendary lensman Helmut Newton, an essay by Anthony DeCurtis of, of course, Rolling Stone magazine, and a reproduction of the “Beast Of Burden”/“When The Whip Comes Down” 7-inch single complete with its original banned sleeve.
